At the January 25, 2010 dinner meeting, members voted to use the following trucking rates: $145.00 per hour based upon 28 yard quad axle and $130.00 per hour based upon 25 yard tridum axle.

This letter outlines the city accepted trucking rates and monthly fuel cost adjustments. Please click on the link below to view this letter. In accordance with the BC Roadbuilders & Heavy Construction Association, the publishers of the The Blue Book - Equipment Rental Rate Guide, the members of the Mid Island Truck & Equipment Association will be using the following rates effective July 1, 2008:
single axle truck - $67.10 per hour
tandem axle truck - $81.85 per hour
truck & pup - $118.45 per hour
The BC Roadbuilders & Heavy Construction Association have also issued a monthly fuel cost adjustment to be added to the hourly rate to help manage the current rise in internationals oil prices that drive the cost of fuel. The monthly rate will be updated by the 5th of the month and is available on the Ministry of Tranportation and Infrastructure website and will also be posted here on our site.
The July adjustment retroactive to July 1, 2008 is: $6.76 per hour.
The August adjustment retroactive to August 1, 2008 is: $6.76 per hour.
The September adjustment retroactive to September 1, 2008 is: $6.06 per hour.
The October adjustment retroactive to October 1, 2008 is: $5.13 per hour.
The November adjustment retroactive to November 1, 2008 is: $4.22 per hour.
The December adjustment retroactive to December 1, 2008 is: $2.56 per hour.
The January adjustment retroactive to January 1, 2009 is: $0.00 per hour.
The February adjustment retroactive to February 1, 2009 is: $0.00 per hour.
